The basic fee to register for the Internet course is $50.00. You can pay registration fees for this Internet course by credit card or check. To register and determine the appropriate fee simply go to the How to Register Section and follow the instructions there. You can register and pay for the Internet course online, or by regular mail. If you have submitted your registration on-line and used a credit card, your registration will be processed within 3 or 4 business days. If you register by mail and used a check for payment it will take up to 10 days to process your registration. When you registration has been processed you will receive an e-mail message from seafoodhaccp@cornell.edu that will contain instructions on how to get a Cornell Guest ID and create and activate your Username and Password. When you complete this process you will receive a second Email with instructions on how to access the Seafood HACCP course site.
If you need a printed copy of 1 or 2 of the training manuals you need to order them. The Alliance HACCP Training Curriculum manual (Blue Book) SGR 120 cost $20, and the FDA Hazards Guide (Purple Book) SGR 121 cost $20. You can order these manuals online from the University of Florida by clicking here. If you prefer to order by phone call 1-800 226-1764 during normal business hours (8:00 am to 5:00 pm EST).
When budgeting your training costs, remember that if you decide that you want to attend a Second Segment session to qualify for an AFDO Certificate of Course Completion, there will be an additional fee for that session. You will need to contact the instructor for the course that you want to attend to register and determine it's cost.
