Completing the Segment One training course on the Internet makes you eligible to register for a one-day session scheduled in your area. The Segment Two part of the Alliance Training Program consists of a "live," one-day, practical session taught by an instructor. To receive the "Certificate of Course Completion" from the Association of Food and Drug Officials (AFDO), you must attend a Segment Two session. These Segment Two sessions are conducted by many of the same individuals or offices that have conducted the three-day "live" HACCP training courses in your area or state.
